Trio Toffa’s highly acclaimed debut album Positive has put the band on main stages of Finland’s major festivals, such as Pori Jazz, Fest Africa, Elojazz and Helsinki Festival (Helsingin Juhlaviikot).
Last year the trio played the main role in La mer si vaste at the Finnish National Theatre, and all twelve shows were sold out!
Toffa is also featured on Two Tribes – An Intercontinental Journey in Rhythm recently released by German label Agogo Records.
Whilst the Kari Ikonen Trio has been touring the world, Noël has been busy with the Helsinki-Cotonou Ensemble, and Petri has released his new solo album, Toffa has slowly been preparing new music for its second album, which will be recorded autumn 2020! Stay tuned!
